Stanly Cup Finals Game 3
Vancouver leads the series 2-0 going into game 3 but at the end of the second period, Boston leads 4-0.
Vancouver defenseman Aaron Rome was given a major penalty and a game misconduct for the hit on Boston's Nathan Horton that sent Horton to the hospital. It was later stated that although he was being sent to the hospital, he was conscious and moving all of his extremities. I hope he's ok.
Now that the facts have been stated Id like to say that although Rome was ejected for the hit, I believe he should be suspended for that hit. If you watch the hit in slow motion you can clearly see that Rome was headhunting.
The most impressive play so far has to be by Tim Thomas. This guy has been amazing in goal.
At the time of this post there was 8:44 left in the 3rd Period.
